Gonna be honest, It felt like a normal summer to me.

Thats the problem with these averages. Its happening, but these aren't dramatic events in and of themselves. So they're less noticeable to humans, especially people who spend a lot of their time moving between air-conditioned environments.

Not saying thats you @mtpender@aussie.zone, i don't know, just speaking generally.

Its the cumulative effects that really start getting on top of us and the environment.

As an example, the fact that above certain degrees trees close up the 'pores' on their leaves, and are unable to photosynthesise for longer periods, thereby producing less flowers, etc that has a detrimental effect through thevfood chain. Or, a better one this summer is the coral bleaching happening up the WA coast there.
