NBN actively incentivize retailers to give new customers good deals for the first 6 months, so you're almost always better off moving around. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/785724 was a pretty good deal and they're a decent provider. Porting is largely painless.

I'm pretty sure its coming from NBN cause I'm yet to see any retailer continue the discount post the 6 month period.
