  I recently purchased a house. After moving in , I noticed that the previous owner has connected the floor drain directly to sewer and now sometimes its smell.

  Every household now have washing machines and nobody washes clothes with their hand anymore. Can anyone explain me why I should keep this and not replace it with a wash basin ?

  How to find out if my property has septic tank?

  I recently purchased a property , built in 1977 and every time its windy outside it smell like sewer inside. How can I fix this ? I found in an article that it could be because of a septic tank nearby?
